Jeff Holton
Pastor Jeff received the call to become the Pastor at Spring Valley Congregational Church in July of 2007. He had been a youth pastor for nearly 14 years and in 2007 sensed God calling him to adult ministry. He is originally from Jamestown, NY and served as the youth Pastor at Fluvanna Community Church for 7 years and at Church of the Cross in Erie, PA for 6 1/2 years.
Jeff enjoys music, coffee, cooking, reading (the Bible and others), movies, web design and spending time with his family. His favorite music group is Rush. Batman is his favorite Superhero and comic book character. Dean Koontz and Ted Dekker are his favorite fiction authors and his favorite non-fiction authors include Jack Deere, Francis Chan, Tim Keller, John Stott and John Piper. His favorite TV shows are Lost (R.I.P.), Revenge, Fringe, Modern Family, The Middle, King of Queens, The Office, The Mentalist, NFL Football (Go Patriots) & MLB (Go Twins). His favorite movies are The Wedding Singer, This is Spinal Tap and The Lord of the Ring Trilogy.
In his free time he edits and designs the online magazine Colossal Pop which reviews recent music varying from Contemporary Christian Music to Heavy Metal.
Jeff says, "God has gifted all of us in many ways and He has gifted me with the Spiritual gifts of teaching/preaching and compassion. I am passionate about teaching the Bible so people may understand it and use it to live a life pleasing to God. I also desire to help families become spiritually healthy and pray I can help them grow together in the Lord. I love the Church even in its flawed state and I personally don't think we have even scratched the surface in doing what God has called us (the Church) to accomplish. I get excited when I know that He has called me to be a catalyst of change for His glory in the Church Body. I am not interested in DOING Church, I am more interested in BEING the Church."

Todd Sauve
Todd Sauve Todd officially began with the church in July 2010. Previously, he and his wife Jenny served on staff with the Navigators campus ministry at UW – Eau Claire for two years. Both were Eau Claire graduates with Todd earning a degree in Public Communication and Jenny in Nursing.
Todd sensed a stir in his heart to move back to Spring Valley in November 2008. The Lord began to do the same thing in Jenny’s heart, and after many months of praying and waiting on God, the plans for him to become the Youth Pastor were set in motion. Throughout the process they were praying a number of verses that God had given to them.
Todd enjoys running and walking with his wife, reading, working in his yard, and any type of sport.
His desire for the youth group is that students would come to know and love Jesus, and live for Him for the rest of their lives. Jesus said that the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. He wants to see laborers sent from Spring Valley to college campuses, the working world, and to the nations.
Spring Valley Promises
Ps 104:10 – “You make springs gush forth in the valleys; they flow between the hills;”
Ps 104:35-38 – “He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. 36And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establisha city to live in; 37they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield. 38 By his blessing they multiply greatly, and he does not let their livestock diminish.”
Isa 41:17-20 – “When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the LORD will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. 19 I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive. I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane and the pine together, 20that they may see and know, may consider and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.”
